Founded by dermatologist Dr Emma Horton, Uncouth offers radically effective skincare for women. Instead of spending lots of money on expensive creams, they can get medical-grade treatments delivered to their door. Among Equals created a brand grounded in an audience insight: that people have got better things to do than a ten-step-routine, from walking the dog to running a business. The identity is inspired by some of history’s most notorious, high-achieving, proudly uncouth women. Think tattoo illustrations, a rebellious tone of voice, and lots of Anne Boleyn content.
