DYICTA Logo Design
- Graphic DesignIntegrated
FCB Africa referenced binary code to create the Digital Youth ICT Academy's monogram. The logo features simplified 0s and 1s to create a geometric pattern that, when stacked up, refers to the academy's initials – DYICTA – in binary code. The geometric visual language was expanded in the form of rhythmic motifs borrowed from traditional step and repeat letima patterns found in Southern African tribes. The result is a functional digital language and unique brand asset setting DYICTA apart from conventional academic branding.
