We, the Lovers
- Sound Design & Use of MusicExisting Music
We the Lovers was created to reduce discrimination and violence against the LGBT+ community. The campaign assets, from films to posters to podcasts, represent LGBT+ diversity and encourage acceptance throughout society, particularly among loved ones. The campaign is carried by a song, We the Lovers (Nous les amoureux) by Jean-Claude Pascal, an anthem of repressed love. Formerly known as a war hero, Pascal won the 1961 Eurovision with this song, which was in fact about his hidden homosexuality. The campaign’s slogan serves as a motto for the LGBT+ community and its allies: in the face of intolerance, we can all make a difference.
