Gibbon: Beyond the Trees is a game about the beauty of wilderness and the destructive force of human civilisation. The game is told from the perspective of a gibbon swinging through an endless, procedurally generated jungle set in South East Asia. It provides a fresh take on an established genre coupled with a unique narrative structure, and doesn't require words to drive the story forward. Gibbon invites players to experience smooth, effortless agility inside a beautiful, lush forest while prompting them to reflect on serious, real-world issues.
