Kevin Finn is an internationally respected designer based in Brisbane, Australia.
He is founder and principal of the independent design practice TheSumOf. He is also founder of Open Manifesto, an independent design journal unlike most others in the world and which focuses on how design intersects with social, cultural, political and economic issues. Contributors have included: Edward de Bono, Noam Chomsky, author and philosopher Alain de Botton, Academy award-winning film director Errol Morris, environmental scientist Allan Savory, ex-CIA operative Larry J Kolb and real life super hero Master Legend, among many others.
Finn is also founder of DESIGNerd, the world’s first graphic design trivia series featuring questions from some of the most significant designers practicing today. Finn is Design Consultant to De Bono Global (Edward de Bono's global management company), where he is also a member of the de Bono Global advisory board. Finn is Design Asscociate to Business Models Inc. a global collective of business design consultants. Previously, for seven years Finn was Joint Creative Director of Saatchi Design, Sydney, part of the Saatchi & Saatchi global advertising network.
