28–30 June 2027, Tobacco Dock, London
D&AD Alive is a new festival where the creative industry comes together to explore the tensions shaping creativity now and defining what comes next, bringing D&AD Festival & New Blood Festival together under one roof for the first time.
Creativity is Alive.
Last year, we asked whether creativity was dead or alive, and the creative community answered emphatically: creativity is very much alive, but it’s also under pressure…
Budgets are squeezed. The junior rung is being sawn off the ladder, leaving the next generation with fewer places to learn. And in the rush to embrace AI, we have left the work that matters fighting for air. Good enough has quietly become the brief and somewhere along the way, the industry stopped celebrating creativity and started managing it.
So we're building creativity a new home.

“There is something unique about it [D&AD] that every time I leave, I come back with a renewed sense of inspiration, a creative fire, and a deeper appreciation for craft. The conversations, the work, and the people make it truly one of a kind experience.”
