Pete's Story is a true account of what it's like to grow up as a victim of child abuse, focussing on the physical and emotional traumas of his experience. Cell animated using watercolour inks, the piece communicates the mixture of fear, confusion and anxiety experienced by Pete at the hands of his abusive mother. The video was used by the NSPCC to reach out to potential donors and talk to young people about abuse.
