My parents came to stay and there was nowhere to put them, so they stayed at a hotel. There was no Airbnb for seven miles! It turns out that this is a common problem. The following week I asked every house on my street if they would join Airbnb and put my parents up. Two houses agreed and 23 houses said they had the same problem!
Using 25 million Airbnb members who go home to their local communities to canvas their streets, Airbnb can go from the tourist areas and out to the suburbs.
